Video and pictures

Averie Jo is getting better at standing up on her own and sometimes take a few steps! The first time surprised me! I was holding her while she was walking and she stopped. I thought she was going to sit down so I let her go and she took a couple more steps before sitting down!  For some reason it won't let me post the video on here so you will need to go HERE to see it.

 

I did another pinterest project. I spray painted the white canvas black and put pictures on it. I didn't want to glue the pictures down because I want to be able to change it in the future. The whole thing cost about 25 bucks! I know a lot of people spent that much per picture.

 

 

Averie Jo is a grumpy girl today because she didn't take a nap at her normal time. She got a blue sucker which make her happy until it was gone. She rather be held instead play on the floor when she is grumpy. She would cry at the drop of the dime.

 

 

Averie Jo tried on her swimming suit the other day. She looks so darling and can't wait for the weather to be warmer to go swimming!

Hiking around the Rainbow Bay

We decided to go hiking and Josh found a trail over by the Lake of the Woods. It is called Sunset Trail. It is halfway to Medford. It was a nice hike and change of pace. Also to get out of the house too.  Diesel had a great time! We let him off of the leash and he did a great job staying close to us.

 

Diesel was swimming. He wanted to get whatever was sticking out of the lake but couldn't because it was little too far for him.

I told Josh we should go for a hike every couple weeks. I can do this type of outdoors as long I don't have to camp. The restrooms at the lake was ammmmaaazzzing! It was very clean and it was like a restaurant/movie theater restrooms. That was a bonus!

Nine months check up!

We went for Averie Jo's nine months check up. It is the best one because she doesn't have to get any shot! She weigh 19.4 pounds and just over 27 inches long. The doctor said she is healthy!  The doctor said we can start giving her foods what we eat in smaller pieces.

Averie Jo is always busy busy busy and doing something all the time(umm who does this sounds like? hee hee). I never see her just sit and do nothing at the moment. The only time she does this is when I put the wedding video on! She loves to get mommy/daddy's cell phones and remotes which she knows she can't have it. She loves Diesel! She likes to pull his hair which of course Diesel doesn't like that. I am trying to teach her to be nice, pet him nicely! Also I am teaching Averie Jo to blow kisses, clap her hands and wave bye bye. I made tiny process, it is difficult to get her to do what I am teaching her . She will keep her hands open for the blow kisses and kind of wave while she is pushing her music walking toy.

First Mother's Day

I was able to celebrate Mother's Day for the first time this year! Josh cooked breakfast, we went to church, I got my nails done while Josh and Averie Jo went grocery shopping. Josh cooked New York Zita Pasta. It was yummy! We haven't had that for a long time! It was a nice relaxing day! I didn't have to lift a finger. :)

I can't imagine my life without Averie Jo. I am so thankful to be her mom! Life before Averie seems so far away that I can't remember what I have done before she came into my life. I am trying to be the best mom for Averie Jo and enjoy every second because it goes by too fast!

Averie Jo's new toy!

We went to Medford yesterday to fix my car. We had pizza for lunch and got Averie a new toy. We wanted something that she can walk with because she loves those toys at the mommy and me thing. She loves it! She needs to learn how to steers it.

Nine months old!

Today Averie is nine months old! Where did the time go? It is more difficult each month to do pictures. Averie does NOT want to stay in one spot. I have to take LOTS of pictures in order to get few decent one.
